Terms & Conditions

Pricing & Registration is based on 1 person, 1 table, per event.

Please register at least 30 days prior to an event. We do accept reservations up to the date of the event however, we can not guarantee hotel room rates and availability and, we can not guarantee retreat availability. If the event shows a waitlist, the event is full. However, feel free to select waitlist. 

Unfortunately, due to the high costs and security issues, we no longer accept PayPal. We accept checks only at this time. Checks must be made out in full and must be received no later than 10 days of registration. Please make checks payable to Cathy Lundahl. Mail to:  3S101 Rockwell Street #436, Warrenville, Il 60555. There will be a $35 charge for any returned checks.
Cancellation Policy
Our goal is to offer great scrapbooking events at the lowest possible rates. To do this, we must book our events to capacity and we count on our registered attendees to be there. Therefore, a $45 cancellation fee will apply.
We understand that there are unexpected situations that could arise. We have two options that could reduce or eliminate the loss of funds. 1) Within 45 days prior to an event, you may move your reservation to the next similar event. One move only. After that date, all cancellation terms apply. 2) If there is a wait list and we are able to seat someone in your place, we may waive the cancellation fee.
There will be no refunds if cancellations occur within 30 days of the event and the full amount will be charged. There will be no refunds for “no shows”. A Passion For Scrappin’ Retreats, LLP is not responsible for any hotel room fees. If an unforeseen event should occur, that is not in the control of A Passion For Scrappin’ Retreats, LLP, such as fire, severe weather, flood, tornado, or Venue Cancellation etc., that prevents the event from taking place, we will make every attempt to be reimbursed for expenses paid to the hotel in advance. The venue requires us to prepay expenses 30 days in advance.  If we are able to recover expenses, we will reimburse our scrappers the total fee(s) or a percentage thereof depending on the amount refunded by the venue.
Hotel Rooms
We have arranged special room rates as a courtesy to our scrappers. Hotel rooms must be reserved and paid directly to the hotel by you. Please follow the link on our Hotel Room Reservation page to book your room. Please do not call the hotel direct. In order to receive the retreat discount, room reservations are to be made at least 30 days in advance. A Passion For Scrappin’ Retreats is not responsible for guest rooms including reservations, and any items left in the guest rooms.
Equipment Use
The die cutting, eyelet setting, punches, and other scrapbook equipment provided at A Passion For Scrappin’ Retreats is for personal use while attending an event. If you are unfamiliar with the equipment, please ask for assistance. Use of any equipment will be at your own risk. You may definitely not eat, chew, sleep with, cook, slice, dice, barter, snort, inject, lick or wear any of our equipment…….just checking to see if you were really reading this!
I understand that the scrapbook equipment (including die cutting machine, dies, punches, eyelet setting equipment, and other equipment at the event, may cause injury if not used correctly and carefully. I agree and hold harmless, A Passion For Scrappin’ Retreats, LLP, it’s owners, partners and employees, for any injuries sustained as a result from the use of the equipment which has been provided for my use during the event. A Passion For Scrappin’ Retreats, LLP, it’s owners, partners and employees will be held harmless against any loss, expenses, damages and liabilities in the event of injury or accident that may occur or has occurred at a A Passion For Scrappin’ Retreat. A Passion For Scrappin’ Retreats, LLP, it’s owners, partners or employees will not be held responsible for any and all personal items including those that may become damaged, lost or stolen. By attending our retreats, you consent to the use of photos in which you may appear.
Photography Release for Minor Child or Children (if applicaple)

By purchasing this event, I hereby authorize A Passion For Scrappin’ Retreats, LLP, hereafter referred to as “A Passion For Scrappin’,” to publish photographs taken of myself and/or the minor child or children who I am responsible for at the event, for use in print, online and video-based marketing materials, as well as other A Passion For Scrappin’ publications. A Passion For Scrappin’ will NOT use names or any other personal information what-so-ever. I hereby release and hold harmless A Passion For Passion’ from any reasonable expectation of privacy or confidentiality for myself and for the minor child and children that I am responsible for, associated with the images specified above. I further acknowledge that participation is voluntary and that neither I, the minor child, or minor children will receive financial compensation of any type associated with the taking or publication of these photographs or participation in company marketing materials or other Company publications. I acknowledge and agree that publication of said photos confers no rights of ownership or royalties whatsoever. All other terms and conditions apply.

We reserve the right to add, delete or modify the written Terms & Conditions without notice.
